Causes of microbial contamination of wet wipes and effective solutions
Nonwoven materials are sheets, webs or batts made of oriented or randomly arranged fibers that are bonded to each other through friction, cohesion or adhesion, or a combination of these methods. Also known as non-woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics or non-woven fabrics.
The sanitary wipes we use in our daily life are made of non-woven materials as carriers, with an appropriate amount of raw materials such as production water and disinfectant. They have a cleaning and sterilizing effect on the treated objects (such as hands, skin, mucous membranes and ordinary object surfaces). towel.

Causes of microbial contamination of wet wipes:
01. Production environment: Although the air is not a good environment for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, there are still a considerable number of microorganisms in the air. Microorganisms in the production workshop space mainly enter through flying dust. In addition, human production and daily activities can cause a large number of Microorganisms enter the air and thus the product.
02. Process water: Water plays an important role in the entire wet wipes production process. The production process of wet wipes determines the huge amount of water used in the production of wet wipes. Production water runs through almost every aspect of wet wipes production and serves as a basic production raw material. Water can easily breed microorganisms and help them grow, so the first step to control is the microbial indicators of the water. Once there is microbial contamination in the production water, the microbial content of the product will exceed the standard.
03. Production equipment: Microorganisms will multiply rapidly under certain environmental conditions, and their numbers will increase dramatically. Moreover, microorganisms present in the air can contaminate production equipment through various channels. The longer the equipment is stored after cleaning, the greater the chance of being contaminated by microorganisms. If it is not cleaned and disinfected, bacteria will easily breed. The microbial content on the equipment will directly affect the hygiene and safety of the towels, eventually causing the microbial towels to exceed the standard, becoming a negative factor for product quality stability, and causing secondary contamination of the next batch of towels.
04. Production pipelines: Compared with other production links, production pipelines are more difficult to sterilize and disinfect. It is not easy to completely kill the microorganisms inside the pipelines, causing the production water to be infected with bacteria, mold, yeast, etc. when it passes through the pipelines. Long-term use will also produce a layer of biofilm. Biofilm is a mixture of microorganisms and some impurities that are adsorbed on the inner wall for a long time, forming a very sticky film that is difficult to clean. Therefore, it will contaminate the production water and cause the total number of product colonies to exceed the standard.
05. Packaging and personnel: The packaging materials are not completely sterilized and carry microorganisms; microorganisms are attached to the operators, and if they do not pay attention to personal hygiene, they will also become a source of pollution.
Prevention:
Take disinfection measures for production links: disinfect the production workshop environment, water disinfection, pipeline disinfection, etc.
Appropriate disinfectants can be used to disinfect the production workshop environment, equipment and various production links; control microorganisms such as molds and fungi that are of greater concern in production, and control the total number of bacterial colonies.
